Leading casing accessory and completion tool company Downhole Products has further enhanced its global footprint with four geographically strategic appointments.
Liam Pirie has been named as the company’s new Business Development Manager for Europe and brings to the role a decade of experience gained since leaving Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University. Liam will be based at Downhole Products’ global headquarters at Portlethen, Aberdeenshire where Gary Thow has just been named Sales Manager for Europe and Africa after three years with the company.
Khay Lau has been unveiled as the new Regional Manager for APAC and will be based in the company’s Malaysian office. A graduate of the University of New Brunswick in Canada, Khay has more than ten years of experience in sales, management and operations in the oil and gas industry.
In Dubai, the Downhole Products team has welcome Iftikhar Ali to the role of Regional Sales Manager for the MENA area and will benefit from a career spanning more than three decades in locations including Pakistan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Trinidad & Tobago, Venezuela and the USA.
Commenting on the news, Downhole Products’ vice president Mark Dundee said: ‘These important additions to the team in key global locations will be central to both correctly positioning the company for further growth, and ensuring we are located close to our growing client base in key and emerging markets.’
