Cooper Basin-focused oil and gas exploration company Real Energy Corp. Ltd. reported Wednesday the recommencement of field operations at Tamarama-1 well in permit ATP 972P in Queensland, Australia after wet weather temporarily suspended operations.
The company said the wireline correlation run has confirmed that the stuck isolating ball needed to be removed by the workover rig operations. Real Energy has arranged for a workover rig to the well site in end July to remove the frac string ahead of the commencement of flow testing.
“We are disappointed with the delay … We will resume our post-frac flow back and flow tests upon the conclusion of the re-completion operations by a workover rig and will advise the market once the flow test results become available,” CEO Scott Brown said in the press release.
