Africa and Europe-focused upstream gas company, Sound Energy, revealed Friday that it was progressing drilling operations at the Tendrara development onshore Morocco.

The company announced that the third Tendrara well, TE-8, has now been drilled to the first casing point at a measured depth of 1,512 feet and that the 13 3/8″ casing is being set and cemented in the top of the Upper Lias formation. 

Sound said that it will now proceed to drill towards the second casing point at a measured depth of approximately 6,791 feet.
